Hey there folks -
Now here's a question for you: I know why the State Execution of Stanley 'Tookie' Williams was big news in the States, (heck it was even reported in the venerable Belfast Telegraph), but why would somebody feel the need to make the statement below here in Belfast?
Tookie is surely looking down on all grafitti everywhere (or is that up?).

Any act, however small and regaurdless of location, is felt by everyone...
Maybe some ex crips moved to Belfast or something??

It's interesting - the friends I know who work in offices here say that a lot of people were talking about it - there's no death penalty here obviously and people have a hard time understanding why folks in the States don't see the practice as savage.

I find it hard to see a lot of things about people in america... capital punishment support is declining but this country seems to follow the "an eye for an eye" adage quite often.
