On the weekend Wayne and his Lovey Wife Ruth invited me to join them for one of their regular 'oh my God let's get out of Belfast if only for a few hours' excursions. We had a grand old time. One of the places visited was Waterfoot Beach where Wayne, Ruth and I sat on a blanket in the sand eating chips and observed these lads enjoying themselves.
One wee hint for those visiting Northern Ireland: When they ask if you want salt and vinegar on chips - don't, whatever you do, say something like "Oh yeah. Don't skimp on the salt and vinegar. Go crazy with the salt and vinegar." I'm still recovering from the sodium overdose.
That photo looks like "Jett & Wayne, c. 1989".
It also looks like it is freezing.
