Well, Dear Reader am heading back to Belfast after a few weeks here in the States. Have not really written much on this blog about the trip - will try to articulate my thoughts about the U.S. in the next Podcast.
As the photo above shows I've had many adventures here - and had planned to post a lot more but alas the Net's a bit slow at the various cafes here in the mountains of New Mexico so there's a backlog of Film Talks and other bits and pieces to upload which I hope to make available soon.
Anyhew, I hope all of you are well and enjoying life as much as possible - had a slight spiritual epiphany which will cause a tiny refinement of the feelings demonstrated in these posts: Richard Dawkins referenced on LTA.
Looking forward to talking about that and other stuff in upcoming shows - have a great weekend and talk to you soon from Belfast.
Hey Jett! Sorry to keep stealing the first comment, but you must know by now that I'm quite possibly the biggest fan(atic) of LTA. I've been listening to the episodes non-stop and even watched the video version of episode 23 in its entirety and found it entertaining, yes, REALLY, and the more I listen to LTA, the more I enjoy it, and I can not believe I never heard anything like it before I first heard episode 54 for that first time. I was wondering about the Slumber vidcast. Was that series originally "Feeling Better", or is that something different? I'd really like to collect all the videos, but a couple of them are in odd formats, m4v and mp4. How possible would it be to get them all in the one .mov format? I can play those without problem, but the other weird formats, I don't know if I need additional codecs or what for those. I watched Slumber Vidcast 5 and I really like the ideas for the movie. It reminds me of the book Raven by S A Swiniarski, if you haven't read it, I highly recommend it. I think that's all for now, but if I think of anything else, I'll email you. I wish you all the best and a safe trip back to Belfast.
