Jett..what IS that hideously over-yellow building just left of center?? Nothing should be THAT yellow unless it's an Italian supercar =/

Yes, I think that 'yellow building' is responsible for my posting this pic - am teaching myself all sorts of stuff re: composition and colour and don't think the pic would have worked for me without it, (in terms of drawing the eye, not re: any pleasing qualities) + if anybody in / is reading this please let us know what the building is. Cheers.

Well, you're right, Jett. It certainly does catch the eye.
Seriously, having taken a few photography classes in my time, I can see where you're coming from. There's not much otherwise terribly remarkable on first glance of that picture, and I otherwise might not have commented on it.
